Richest Woman in the World Tells Poor People to Stop Being Lazy
Are you tired of working day in and day out for a meager wage while your boss sits on his butt and gets a six figure bonus? Great news, you can do something about it!
The richest and possibly unhealthiest woman in the world, Gina Rinehart, has recently given poor people a great tip for life, “Do something to make more money yourself — spend less time drinking or smoking and socialising, and more time working.” Yeah! Get off your lazy butt, stop sleeping, and get a fifth job!
Now, Rinehart has every right to make such a bold statement. She is after all an extremely hard worker herself. It takes super human effort to be able to wade through $30.1 billion dollars of inherited money.
Thanks for the tip Gina. You might be a sight for sore eyes, but you’re a saint where it matters most.

Marine Arrested Over Harmless Facebook Posts

Brandon Raub, a veteran marine, was forced from his house in handcuffs without charges and is under medical evaluation for posting on facebook that the government was responsible for 9/11 and the need for a revolution.
This is the United States of China right? This is the NDAA in practice folks. Either our politicians are illiterate or they just happen to consistently overlook that elusive section of our constitution called the Bill of Rights.

Invisible Bike Helmet

Ana and Terese have developed a bike helmet that is fashionable, comfortable, and most importantly, completely invisible! You wear it around your neck, not your head. It works very similarly to a car air bag. In the event of a bike collision or being thrown off of your bike the helmet inflates and protects your entire neck and skull.
The two students created the invisible helmet in an attempt to make riding bikes safer so that more people would start using the bicycle as their primary mode of transportation.

Rapists Have the Same Parental Rights as Any Other Father In Majority of States

Yeah, you read that correctly. In a total of 31 states men who impregnate a woman through rape are allowed to assert the same parental custody and visitation rights as any other father. Shauna Prewitt, a woman who has experienced this reality first hand, states that “When no law prohibits a rapist from exercising these rights, a woman may feel forced to bargain away her legal rights to a criminal trial in exchange for the rapist dropping the bid to have access to her child.”
This is just not right. Shauna Prewitt actually went to law school to find out what she could do about it. Prewitt explains that “when faced with the choice between a lifetime tethered to her rapist or meaningful legal redress, the answer may be easy, but it is not painless. For the sake of her child, [a] woman will sacrifice her need to see her once immensely powerful perpetrator humbled by the court.”
Why is this injustice allowed? Prewitt blames ignorance. She goes onto say that “opponents argue no woman would ever choose to raise the child she conceived through rape. The only two studies to analyze the choices made by pregnant raped women indicate otherwise — at least 30% of women who conceive by rape make this choice.”
She adds that many people claim that a rapist would never request custody of their child, yet this opinion is historically untrue.
Let’s be honest, Senator Akin’s recent comment that if rape “is a legitimate rape, the female body has ways to try to shut that whole thing down,” doesn’t help the problem if ignorance at all. Apparently Akin missed science class, or maybe school altogether.
How the hell do people like this become leaders? Most importantly, why are people voting for them?

Early Exposure to Antibiotics Linked To Potential Obesity

sharnyandjulius.com A study from the International Journal of Obesity has found that ingestion of antibiotics in the first 6 months of life is associated with
consistent increases in body mass from 10 to 38 months.
It is unclear whether this increase is linked to cardiovascular problems later in life but it is definitely something worth investigating.
Children all around the world are given antibiotics from the onset of life. It may be time to rethink this practice.

Women Have Semen in Their Brains

More specifically, a protien in semen penetrates the blood brain barrier and enters women’s brains, causing the hypothalamus and pituitary gland to release the hormones required for pregnancy. Apparently, semen causes women to ovulate.
Researchers have found that this protien exists in animals all over the world. Chinese researchers actually discovered the finding in 1985, but because it was so counter-intuitive to common knowledge at the time, scientists simply ignored it!
In 2005 a new group of researchers verified what had already been known for two decades by injecting semen into the leg of female llamas, part of a group of animals that only release eggs in response to sex.
